The largest counties in the Bay Area made a joint decision to enact Governor Newsom's Shelter-in-Place order a week early instead of a week late. It's going to hurt, but it's the right thing to do. Here's a summary of what to expect once the order takes effect on Monday, December 7th.

As you probably know, Santa Clara County's Covid-19 risk status was changed from Moderate (Orange) to Widespread (Purple) on November 16 by an order of Santa Clara County's Public Health Department. The consequences of this rapid 2 tier drop is concentrated in a few areas, but won't affect most people very much.

Lots of people are taking advantage of the lowered infection rates in Santa Clara County to venture out a little more. Also with limited indoor dining resuming as of this week, Downtown Campbell at night doesn’t feel quite as pandemic...

This week, Santa Clara County announced that we've moved into the Orange Tier of California's Covid-19 guidelines, which loosens restrictions enough that small indoor gatherings and limited capacity indoor dining will be allowed again.
