A lot goes on in Downtown Campbell. We have street entertainment twice a month, wine walks, beer walks, art walks, and lots of other odds and ends events that make Downtown Campbell such an engaging little downtown. The membership of the Downtown Campbell Business Association (DCBA) is responsible for much of what happens in Downtown Campbell and if it were not for their countless hours of volunteer work, Downtown Campbell would not be the place that it is today.
Each year, the DCBA picks a member of the year to honor for all of their hard work and contributions to the social climate in Downtown Campbell. This year we're honoring Kelly Crowley, the general manager and driving force behind the popular sports lounge, Khartoum. Running a popular watering hole is already a lot of work so it's no small wonder how she finds the time to do as much as she does for the rest of Downtown. Kelly is a board member of the DCBA, the current treasurer, a past membership chair, coordinator of the Second Saturdays Artwalk, an organizer of our wine walks, and has been involved behind the scenes of many other activities for many years.
We couldn't be happier and prouder to say that Kelly Crowley is our member of the year for 2017. If you see her, show her some love. She's worked her tail off to help make Downtown Campbell the place that it is.
Please join us at the annual Celebrate Campbell Awards Dinner on March 18th to thank Kelly for her work.
(Kelly's third from left in the silly photo if you count Will Ferrell's disembodied head, but if you're not into counting famous comedians, she's second from left in the middle.)
We'll be holding the 19th Annual Bunnies and Bonnets Parade in Downtown Campbell this year on April 15th, 2017. Your group or organization can join in on the fun! Applications are now open for any family friendly themed group or float to be in this year's parade.
To apply, please see our online application form for this year's parade.
Apply Here: Bunnies and Bonnets Parade Application Form
Please note, all entries must be submitted by Friday, March 15th, 2017. Apply early. SPACE IS LIMITED. Your participation in the parade is subject to approval from the Downtown Campbell Business Association board and you will be notified of the status of your application by e-mail.
For profit organizations will be subject to a $50 parade entrance fee that will be due upon acceptance into this year's parade.
The Bunnies and Bonnets Parade is not a city funded event and relies largely on funds donated by people and businesses to continue operating year after year. If you enjoy the Bunnies and Bonnets Parade, please consider making a small donation to help the Downtown Campbell Business Association cover the costs of fees, services, and materials needed to produce the parade.
Our friends at Home Church are participating in a special honor this week. They're hosting a "Prom Night" event that's organized every year by the Tim Tebow Foundation. The event is Night to Shine Silicon Valley and it's a night to give special needs individuals the red carpet VIP treatment for a night. Watch the video below and learn more about this unique and moving event. If you have the means to do so, please support the event and the Home Church's community service efforts by donating a few dollars on the the events' GoFundMe page.

On Sunday, January 15th, 2017, the latest concept in de-stressing and wellness arrived in Downtown Campbell. The Float Station had their grand opening with a ribbon cutting conducted by the Campbell Chamber of Commerce and a catered open house to introduce what they're all about to the local community.
The Float Station allows you to experience a relaxation treatment known as "floating" where you shut out the world around you and reset your senses by floating in a pod of water infused with 1200 pounds of high quality Epsom salt. A standard treatment lasts an hour.
You can find out more and schedule your first float on their website:

Famous man of action and bad hair days, Bob Carlson, was one of the recipients of the Rotarian of the Year award from the Rotary Club of Campbell. Bob has been a tremendous asset for the Campbell community in too many ways to count. At just about any major and not so major event happening in Downtown Campbell, Bob is there coordinating volunteers that he helped to organize and lending his hands to do whatever needs to be done. If you've met Bob before, you'll know what a great guy he is and we couldn't be happier to see him get recognized for his service.
Congratulations Bob and many thanks from Downtown Campbell!

Easy gift ideas for under $20!
Up until December 20th we'll be collecting gifts that will directly assist a local organization this holiday season. Our goal is to aid in granting 500 wishes - and potentially help to change the course of 500 lives. Stop by La PanotiQ and choose a gift tag off of the giving tree and then come back with the item to make your donation of that item. Everything on the tree is something that is needed by our chosen organizations and your donations will be presented to them after the collection period is over.
This year our selected charities are Dress for Success San Jose, Project Homeless Connect, Children of Shelters, East Bay SPCA, and LifeMoves.
Ok, so you're stuck for gift ideas again. Well, it's time to give up and just give out gift cards to Home Depot or Applebee's again like you did last year, right? Oh the high life, gift cards don't have to be boring!
Do you want to be "that person" gifting the ho-hum gift cards just because they were in front of you at the supermarket or do you really want to show the love with a gift card to someone's favorite spot in Downtown Campbell?
So to help you out, here's a partial list of places in Downtown Campbell that have gift cards or gift certificates available. Even better, some of these spots are offering special deals on their gift cards and they're throwing in bonus cards or selling the cards at a discount off of the face value.
See below for a list of places offering gift cards in Downtown Campbell and see our deals page for information about special deals on gift cards and gift certificates.
