The past few years as more and more people have laptops and smartphones we've been seeing more and more people come to the summer movies in Downtown Campbell with them pulled out. I'm sure this year we'll add tablet devices to the list of things people will bring with them to the movies.

To date, we haven't had a policy on use of personal electronic devices during movies. Our approach has been to only lay down rules when something gets to be a problem. It might be time to have a policy. Each year we've received more complaints from people that they're being distracted by someone in the crowd using a laptop or smart phone.

We're going to let our audience set the policy. Please vote on whether we should allow unlimited use of any electronic device, impose a complete ban, or allow limited use of smartphones for important matters. If you have anything extra to say, please post a comment with your thoughts.

Stone Griffin Gallery invites you to check out our website featuring original and limited edition artwork of Campbell's beloved water tower.

Here at Stone Griffin Gallery, we sell other artwork (of course). California landscapes is probably our featured specialty, along with local landmarks (such as the tower). Figurative and abstract works flesh out our offerings.

Anyway -- we decided to purchase the domain name www.campbellwatertower.com and put up a site just of Campbell Water Tower artwork! We have photographs on stretched canvas, original oils, limited edition giclee work, and watercolor pieces.

Please check out the website, and please visit the gallery at 234 E Campbell Avenue in Downtown Campbell!

Stone Griffin Gallery has moved to its new location at 234 East Campbell Ave. in Downtown Campbell! At its grand re-opening during Campbell's July 15 ArtWalk, Stone Griffin premiered a collection of images featuring Campbell's venerable landmark, the water tower.

Stone Griffin Gallery specializes in images of the water tower — the collection includes dramatic images of the tower reproduced on canvas and smaller framed pieces. Featured in the collection is an original 18" x 24" framed watercolor by local landscape artist Dick Zunkel. Smaller limited signed canvas reproductions complete the collection. Stone Griffin Gallery features the largest collection of California landscapes in the area.
