Casa de la Cultura Mexica Sundown Cinema is a production of Casa de la Cultura Mexica
Casa de la Cultura Mexica is a Santa Clara County, California based non-profit organization dedicated to preserving pre-Columbian and Latin American Culture through the Arts and Cultural Education. Facilitating the expansion of cultural diversity while simultaneously decreasing cultural boundaries.

Sundown Cinema is a celebration of classic cinema and an exploration of the cultural aspects of an important American art form. This popular summer movie series was started by Campbell resident, Manuel Viveros and his arts organization, Casa de la Cultura Mexica, to give the community an opportunity to come together and enjoy the unique experience of seeing a movie outdoors together.

Sundown Cinema is completely funded by private contributions and run by volunteers who believe in spreading culture and the spirit of community. If you would like to make a tax-deductible donation or volunteer to help with Sundown Cinema, please visit the Casa de la Cultura Mexica website.

Movies will be shown in the parking lot next to Orchard Valley Coffee near the corner of E. Campbell Ave. and Central Ave. Start times for each movie will depend on when the sun sets. Shows usually begin between 8 and 9pm, once it's dark enough to see the movie. Don’t forget to bring a chair and a blanket!
