All movies will be shown in the parking lot next to Orchard Valley Coffee near N. Central Ave and E. Campbell Ave. Start times will depend on when the sun sets.

The parking lot opens at 6:30pm and shows begin between 8 and 9pm, once it's dark enough to see the movie. Don't forget to bring a chair and a blanket!

Make Your Audience Choice Suggestions!

We've started the process to choose the final movie of the season, which is a title selected by the audience. Through August 12th, you may submit up to three movies that you'd like to nominate as the last movie of the season by emailing your selections to sundown@downtowncampbell.com. The top three most nominated movies move off to a run off in an online poll that will determine which of the three is our audience choice.

About Sundown Cinema

Sundown Cinema is a popular outdoor movie series in Downtown Campbell that takes place on Friday nights over the course of the summer. Entering its seventh year running, Sundown Cinema is a part of Campbell culture that has remained true to its founding as a movie series organized by the community for the community. From its start, it has been independently organized by volunteers, staffed by volunteers, and paid for through audience donations and sponsorships from local businesses and organizations.

We have all the volunteers we need for this year, but if you'd like to be contacted when we're organizing for next year, please email sundown@downtowncampbell.com and provide us with your contact information. We especially need people who are both computer savvy and competent with A/V equipment.

Sundown Cinema is free for all to enjoy, but donations are greatly appreciated and needed to keep the series going. Even though we're volunteer powered, it still costs an average of $500 per night to pay for movie royalties and other costs. If you have the financial means to do so, please put some money in the donations jar and help us keep the movies rolling.
