Downtown Campbell Business Association announces the debut of the Big Bands & BBQ Festival. Enjoy big dance bands, dancing, top BBQ grillers, and artisan booths all afternoon and into the evening, in the heart of Downtown Campbell.

Four outdoor stages and two dance floors featuring great dance music all day long! The event will kick off with Papa Hugs, a perfect dance band for children and their parents. Our featured entertainment includes titans of the local Salsa scene, Edgargo & Candela, a nine piece Salsa band based in San Francisco since 1987. The Bay Area's premiere female vocalist Lavay Smith and the Red Hot Skillet Lickers and the Silicon Valley House Rockers will keep the crowds dancing into the night, plus three additional stages playing live music with a DJ and outdoor dancing.

Not only will there be great dance music such as swing, Latin, rock and soul big band music, we offer a unique experience and a special treat for your dancing pleasure. Two specially constructed outdoor hardwood dance floors right in the middle of the street.

All great festivals offer delicious food and the Big Bands and BBQ Festival will live up to this tradition. Eight of the Bay Area's best commercial grillers will converge in Downtown Campbell and cook up some world-class BBQ. Ribs, brisket, chicken and hot links will be cookin' and mainstreet will be loaded with picnic tables, chairs, umbrellas and artisan booths.
