The First Friday in August brings us Hot Nights in the Old Town! Put on those bobby socks and head over to Downtown Campbell to enjoy blues and rock music of the 50s & 60s, after-hours shopping, and a free classic car show organized by Campbell's own Willies Place Rod & Kustom Car Shop.Live entertainment along Campbell Avenue will include After Dark Chicago blues band, Little Pea and the Third Degree, and the hardest-working band in the South Bay, The Blues Rockers. And inside Orchard Valley Coffee you can catch folk singer/songwriters Celia Farran and Loren Davidson. Fans of Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin, get ready! On July 25th, Sundown Cinema presents an evening of comedy with The Stooge (1953).Movie Synopsis: Plot Summary on Wikipedia Where & When: Movies will be shown in the parking lot next to Orchard Valley Coffee near the corner of E. Campbell Ave. and Central Ave. Start times for each movie will depend on when the sun sets. Shows usually begin between 8 and 9pm, once it's dark enough to see the movie. Don’t forget to bring a chair and a blanket! Sundown Cinema is presented by Casa de la Cultura Mexica, a local non-profit arts organization, and sponsored in part by the Downtown Campbell Business Association and Javier Sanchez.
