7:00PM - Caramels & Confections (Class Two)
Snake & Butterfly is proud to announce our very first series of chocolate classes.
Each class will be two hours of chocolate filled delight!
Class One - Chocolate History & The Production Process
*This class will cover the history of chocolate as a food and a commodity. Early production methods up to today's industrial processes will be covered. If you've ever wondered how your chocolate got to you from the plantation to your plate, this class is for you! (Class held on Monday, November 18 & Monday, November 25, 2013)
Class Two - Caramel & Confections
*This class will ease your fears of handling molten hot sugar and show you how to turn it into the delectable treat that is caramel. The basics of candying, ganache and fudge will be covered as well. (Class Held Tuesday, November 19th & Tuesday, November 26, 2013)
Each class is $50 and is limited to a group of 10 participants maximum. Each person will leave with a gift of $20 worth of chocolate (bars, confections or caramels).
You are welcome to sign up for one or both classes. Those that sign up for both simultaneous classes will receive a 10% discount on the total cost.
