8:30PM - Sundown Cinema: To Kill a Mockingbird (1962)

Sundown Cinema invites you to join us for this powerful film adaptation of Harper Lee's classic novel, To Kill a Mockingbird (1962) starring Gregory Peck.  Set in a small town in Alabama during the Depression, the plot simultaneously follows the story of two siblings and their childhood adventures as well as the story of their father, a white lawyer who defends a black man in court against a false rape charge.

This is a fun and thought-provoking film for all ages which is sure to start family discussions about racism, civil rights, and American history.
