Green Planet Yarn in Downtown Campbell is pleased to present Crocheted Toe-up Socks. This class, held on three successive Wednesdays (January 18th, 25th, and February 1st), is for beginning crochet students. This class is for individuals who want to learn how to make a crocheted sock. The clever less-dense crochet stitch results in a comfortable finished product. In this three-session class you learn how to make socks for yourself because you’ll try them on as you go. Skills learned will include short row, extended single crochet, working in the round, turning the heel, and crocheted ribbing if desired.
REQUIREMENT: Students need to bring to class a sock weight yarn in a solid light color and a variety of hook sizes to obtain gauge.
The staff at Green Planet Yarn will be happy to help you pick out your supplies. Instructor will distribute pattern at the beginning of the first session.
Fee: $81, pattern included. Note tax is charged for the pattern. Yarn, hook and other supplies additional. Payment required in advance. Space is limited. Please phone the shop for more information and to reserve a spot, 408-871-9196.
