The staff of the City of Campbell will conduct a meeting for Campbell residents on Tuesday, May 28, 7pm-8:30pm, to present information regarding a potential ordinance restricting the use of single-use carryout bags within the City of Campbell. 

This community meeting, open to all residents of Campbell, will take place in the Orchard City Banquet Hall of the Campbell Community Center.  (Please note: there will be a separate meeting for Campbell business owners and retailers on Tuesday, May 21, 1:30pm-3pm.)

The single-use carryout bag ordinance is currently in the development stage and has not yet been passed. If this ordinance were passed, stores would be required to charge a minimum of ten cents per paper or reusable bag.  Restaurants would be exempt.  Please click here to download a sheet the City has prepared to answer frequently asked questions.

Birthing Mamas Circle (BMC) is a weekly gathering for pregnant Mamas to build community, share information and learn about local resources, as well as questions that come up during your pregnancy.

Topics include: Choosing the right care provider, the difference between routine interventions and medical solutions, breastfeeding and much more.
